I am using a Flipper 2 rest with no extra side plate build up. I understand vanes work fine off an elevated rest, which I have. But, the arrow doesn't sit away from the riser like on a Springy or similar. Are vanes still fine from this set up? I'm sure Trad vanes would be fine but, I have read they can be finicky with gluing due to the narrow base so I was looking for more options.

Thanks

Trad vanes would be the go to but I have shot AAE hybrids off a springy, weather rest and a flipper rest. Its more about the clearance to the shelf with the arrow elevated on the rest. The sidewall contact should be taken care of by paradox of a tuned arrow.

-1/8" I went with trad vanes, figured they were good to go for whatever set up I may use.
