I just found out that I drew the only nonresident Valle Vidal Turkey Tag. Woo hoo!

Congrats! Were the toms fired up at all for you? I was up there Saturday and Sunday and they were dead silent during daylight. Sure is a beautiful area to chase turkey though.

The birds were very quiet for the most part, we were there for 2.5 days and never heard a gobble after 1:30pm. Sunday morning we heard a few birds on the roost and then they shut up till about 7:30 or so and then there were were 3-4 that lit up. But yeah I would agree that it was far less gobbling activity than I would have expected, especially for the amount of birds over there.
