I am from southwest VA, near TN. Pretty new to hunting, been on a few deer hunts and a few upland hunts. Was in the Army for awhile but that's been long ago. Been working out and getting ready for some backcountry trips next year to get into it more, starting with turkey locally and getting into the grouse woods in northern MN next fall. Wanting to expand out from there some. Forum has been helpful as someone just lurking, so decided I might as well join in.

Thank you. Not far at all, live in Bristol, visit Damascus often. Father in law owns a bit of land in Taylor's Valley, so we fish there very often.
