I would prefer the Canyon Pounder but unfortunately $600 is the new going rate. Still looks like a well done sight.

I’d like to see one in person, I’m sure my shop will have one at some point. I’ve always used a spothog fast Eddie and have never had issues, so it’s really got to be something special for the premium price. Some of the mechanics look good, others I’d like to mess with, like the locking mechanism.

We received one of these today at our store. It’s a really nice sight. Some really good features on it. Very smooth adjustments. For the size it’s also extremely light weight. These will be a top seller for sure. And as far as price goes it’s not much more than others currently on the market.

I couldn’t tell from one of the videos I watched, is the bar metal or 3d printed plastic?

What's a uvxl? $250?

So $350 for a slider base, I think that's pretty inline with where the market is.


I'm not too interested in it personally, but UV seems to be a company that is bringing new ideas to market.

I like how easy it is to pull the housing.

Looks like the third axis adjustment is in a good position, moving everything instead of just swinging the scope only. Also like that the 1st axis is already built in, second axis with micro adjust is nice. I see that stuff loosen up frequently, so less stuff that can move, the better.

2 sight tapes are nice. I shoot off a sight scale, but use a yardage scale as a backup/quick reference. For a hunting sight just having 2 yardage scales would be nice incase something moves and you might not be carrying a chart with you. Not uncommon in target bases, don't see many hunting sliders that offer a backup.


I assume it's pretty light.

Considering my Spot Hogg was under 400 for the scope and sight body, both of the Axcel Landslydes I had were sub 400 for everything, this sight is highly over priced from an unproven startup company using plastic or resin or delrin. Had the sight with scope been priced at 350 for everything, that would be inline for the market, especially for a young company. It’s probably a well made sight, and would imagine it’s light, it has nice features, it’s just over priced.

I was kinda pissed when this came out because I bought a Bowfinger 1 sight 3 weeks before it dropped. And I called Ultraview and asked what sight I could fit the UV3XL onto. You'd think they would have said "Hey wait 3 more weeks and our new sight will be out" uhhhhhhh! But I have the UV3Xl scope on a Bowfinger 1 sight now and I love it. But I had to buy the UV3 slider as well and should be here in November. Now back to the 1 sight. I can see they are different and what I mean is the 1 sight is like the axcell in a way and well built. It has a 10 click 24 turn rail for elevation which I like. I don't know how to use it yet but I'm learning. It has 2 places for sight tapes or sight tape and scale. I'm learning to use the scale and I'm getting the hang of it. It has a gang adjustment so if I'm at 20yards and the next 3d target is at 60 yards I don't have to turn the wheel all the way down, just push the button and slide. It has a good windage crank as well and both are fine adjustments. It has a pin lock system on the scope so I can take the scope off for travel then put it back on and it will be in the same place. It's a great sight I'm just pissed I got it and now I had to buy the Uv3 set up. I know, I know no one twisted my arm to do it but I do like all my stuff to be matching. Now with the new UV3 sight it looks smooth from what I have seen. And the big difference I see is that it is a dial slider and the 1 sight is a crank slider. Which enables me to get 1/2 yard moves. I think both are exceptional and I will use both. Now I have 2 complete set ups and will be able to compare them side by side when I get the uv3. I will post on here. But in the mean time I will get solid on the 1 sight UV3XL combo first. If anyone can help me master the sight scale option please feel free to chime in. I also have Archers Mark app and Archers Advantage to go along with. So any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

It’s actually all machined aluminum except for the gears which are acetal/delrin. It’s silky smooth with zero backlash.

Not much to mastering a sight scale, just a matter of reading a chart and setting the sight.

Guess the only real issue is getting everything programmed correctly. Draw board to measure peep height and sight radius, shoot it in.
