After 8 years my SXS battery finally took a dump. I don't know jack about powersports batteries, is there a preferred brand or any brands to avoid?

8 years for a wheeler battery is a solid performance. I’d buy an identical replacement if it’s available.

Dealer quoted me a 12 month wait for a factory replacement.

This is popular in the UTV community. It will be bigger than stock, so gotta make sure it’ll fit. Once my stock battery goes(5+ years and counting), I’ll probably go with this one.

Just go to NAPA and get a good replacement. The last one I bought was around $100.

Gee. I only got 6 years out of my stock battery.
I went with an Interstate battery. Working great.
