Utah FishLake Mule deer UTV needed?

I have a general deer tag for early rifle Oct 7-11. Just wondering if the side by side is needed for this hunt?

It will open some more country up for you because there is a bunch of restrictive trails that you can't take wider vehicles on. As you can imagine there will still be plenty of company on those trails too.

I don't know the entire unit, but what I do know, make sure you're sxs fits on a 50" trail.

My sxs is just under 60" and my brothers is larger. Would they be pointless then?

A sxs is not needed on the unit, but does make traveling in some areas nicer (not beating the truck up). Just depends on where you want to hunt. As stated, some trails are for less than 50 inch only. Most sxs won't meet that criteria.

If it were me I would bring it. If you are wanting to hunt areas with the less than 50 trail restrictions then consider a 4-wheeler.
