Hey guys, hope this is the right place for this. I’m heading out to hunt deer at the end of August around the manti unit area. For you guys who live around that area, how bad is the smoke from the fire to the south?

Smoke has been crazy thick lately. Hopefully we'll get some moisture and knock down some fire and get more containment. Right now, I'd guess the haze will affect long-distance glassing.

This is from a South Eastern prospective not sure how much smoke thier seeing on the northern end

It depends upon your elevation and which side of the mountain you're on. It's not impacting animal movement, but it is definitely hazy.
