Well, its official. I got the email. A part of me was thinking this could still not be what I thought it was. Still cant believe it. I remember reading about the Henrys when I was younger. A true dream tag.

But if not I guess I will have to decide when/where to hunt Dall's sheep. Then figure out where to chase Moose and Brown Bears, or if I should try to catch Caribou by a Grizzly area. Then maybe a combo Kodiak deer/ Mt Goat hunt in the fall..... Oh the hunting dilemmas an Alaska Resident faces every year...

They didnt say. It was in the last board meeting towards the start if I remember correctly. One of the board members asked Lindy and she said they were working on it and plan to have them available for the 2023 application period.

Edit. Starts at 52:50 on the 4/29/21 board meeting.

Thanks for that time stamp! Pretty ambiguous response from her, but glad it's on their radar. Damn government moves too slow though, they should be able to do this for next year!

I’ve seen my draw results emails and clients emails coming through. They are hitting!

I can say I was excited for the first time to not draw because I have other hunts coming so it was a relief but I hope that helps you all instead

i told a fib yesterday about a drawing a buffalo tag I received the email and in fact it was NOT a buffalo tag for me. it IS a MOOSE tag for my wife. WOW what a surprise. time to change gears and begin the chase.

I drew a LE Elk tag (9 points). My brother in law is a non res and called me at 7am letting me know his card was hit for $2200. After a long day of waiting he finally got the email for the Henry's Bison tag. Only had 3 points and I have no idea how he drew it.
