Bought a used scope, not on this forum, and received it with scratches on both lens. The ocular lens has a large blemish you can see when looking through the scope. It’s a swaro and I paid good money for it.

Any idea how much it cost to replace lens on a swaro scope?

I have bought and sold many scopes and never had any issues. Especially when someone says the glass is “great”

What do you guys think is a reasonable resolution with the seller?

If he didn’t disclose the blemishes, he should give you your money back. But, it’s an online purchase of a used product, so buyer beware. 🤷‍♂️

I had a member here sell me a Leupold a few years ago that was non-functional! Fortunately it was a Leupold so I sent it in under warranty. They fixed it and I sold it actually for a few dollars more than I had into it! I’ll only buy used if I can get it fixed under warranty.

Thanks for the notes. We worked it out..he gave me some money back to get it repaired. All good. We will see how Swarovski’s customer service is. I have heard nothing but great things about them.
