I am wanting to upgrade the scope on my hunting rifle and therefore looking to sell my current scope which is a Leupold VX5HD 3-15x44 CDS-ZL2 with the Side Focus and Duplex Reticle. I purchased this Leupold in 2024 and had it professionally installed by a gunsmith on my Winchester Model 70 and used it for two seasons.
The scope is in overall decent condition and as far as I can tell works properly including the CDS. I have redeemed the CDS coupon. I took three deer with this rifle in the 2025 WV deer season and each shot was slightly over 200 yards. The markings from the scope rings are caused I believe by some sort of compound the gunsmith used when he mounted it on my rifle.
The scope will come as pictured with the original box and bikini covers. It will come with the standard factory elevation turret installed. It will also come with the Leupold Alumina Lens Caps. I will also include the set of Model 70 medium Leupold Backcountry Ringmounts that it was mounted with if the buyer wants them at no additional cost.
Looking to get $800 shipped OBO. I prefer USPS Money Order for payment but can also take PayPal F&F. The first “I’ll take it” posted in this thread gets the scope. Please ask any questions that you have. Thank you for looking.
