Both myself and the buyer just got the text notification the box was picked up by USPS... 8 days later. WHEW!

Please learn from my mistake.... if the item has any sort of value, have the carrier give you a receipt that they received it, drop it off at the appropriate carrier, and get accurate insurance for the value of the item.

Glad it worked out also. The more hands that touch anything, the more likely something could go wrong. Murphys Law applies very well here. Best remedy is to make it as simple as possible. Thousands of packages end up weekly in the giant UPS lost package warehouse, where they get auctioned off to the highest bidders for pennies on the dollar....never to make it to the intended person. UPS often does very little to try and find the rightful owner of those packages. Same goes for the USPS. They lose even more packages/mail. Don't give them a head start on losing yours.
