Upland Jacket Recomendation

Hi guys, I'm stomping around Iowa crp and have come to the conclusion that my Yukon Gear soft shell jacket is too hot for 30-45f temps. I normally wear a smart wool mid weight long sleeve and then that soft shell and after an hour my back is sweated through. I'm looking for a lighter jacket that holds up to burrs and thorns but can breathe better. I think if my current jacket had pit zips it would probably be ok. It would be great if your recommendations had blaze orange on it but it is not a must. I think my strap vest has enough orange on it to be legal.

Thanks.

For those temps chasing birds I just wear a Carhartt rain defender hoodie. If it's damp I throw and old, cheap, breathable, lightweight rain coat on over the top. I also have an arborwear stretch cambium jacket that is a comfortable an not too restrictive for wingshooting in those temps

I wish First Lite would make the corrugate jacked with fluorescent orange. Would be an awesome upland outer layer.

Those Temps i generally don't have much on besides a heavy flannel or hoody with a bird vest over the top. When it gets nippy I'll wear my Kuiu Guide soft shell and adjust baselayers accordingly
