Upgrading from Nikon Z6 (original)

My Z6 is getting a little long in the tooth, especially considering how much better autofocus has gotten in the years since it came out. I'm likely going to stay in the Nikon ecosystem since I have a couple of decades of lenses and familiarity, but can anyone speak to getting a Z6 III vs saving for a bit and getting the Z8? Seems like unless I'm planning to do pro work, the Z8 might be overkill, but is there anything truly useful that I would regret missing if I go for the less expensive solution?

Mostly photo work, but I'd like to be doing more video.

I’d honestly go with the z7 series if primary objective is photography. The z7 series does well for video too. I’d also probably focus more on upgrading or getting better lenses than spending the difference between the z6/7 vs a z8
