Upgrade Binos or Tripod/head setup first?

I am currently contemplating either upgrading my binos or my tripod/head set up. Which one would recommend upgrading first? I am currently running vortex Viper HD 10X50's on a Vanguard Carbon tripod / head combo.

For a tripod/head combo I was looking at the tricer AD + the LP head.

Not sure what I would want to get for binos, probably a used pair of swaro's.

Upgrade the binos. IMO. Moving to a swaro from viper hd was stepping into another world. Which is the exact jump I made. I went to EL range. Sold them. I have a set of 10x52 nl pures coming the next few weeks. They are the most incredible piece of glass I’ve ever looked through. On first look I said wow

Ive been using a knock off Amazon $60 ball head tripod for 9 straight years and have found and killed a lot of animals. Upgrade your binos. Nothing wrong with a vanguard tripod.

Definitely Swaros. I don’t think I could do without their glass in my life now that I have them.

Though I have to say, my friend was running the viper binos and upgraded to Maven B series and the difference was astounding. If I couldn’t have these NL’s, that’s what I would go with.

I agree with Everyone on the binos. With that being said I love my Tricer tripod. On sale they are worth the gimmicky legs.

The mavens are that good huh? I was aiming for used EL's but if the Mavens are that good I might have to try those.

They have a demo program. If you aren’t happy, you send them back. I was definitely impressed with what they offer at that price. Of course the NL is better, but 3 times better? I think that’s all in what a budget allows. If I didn’t have those, I would never feel undergunned with the Maven.

Used Swaros and it’s not even close. There is a reason they’re the standard everything else is compared to. And when it’s time to get a different tripod/head, there’s just soooo many options better than a Tricer…

What problems are people finding with the Tricer heads? I've certainly had no issues with mine. Are the Wiser heads really that much better?

I wish I had friends smart enough to redirect me, but unfortunately I’m the friend that usually beta tests before the others get set up. Pair of cheap Vortex’s on a Tricer as we speak, although I will say they work and get you in the field just fine.
