Updates on Sevr 1.5 and Grim Reaper Pro 1 3/8

I've done a search but I'm curious if there's any new experience on Sevr 1.5 or GR pro 1 3/8 for elk?
Particularly interested in penetration and blood trails.
Thanks, just seeing if anyone used these in the 2021 season.

I think it also depends on your draw weight, FPS, kinetic energy, and FOC of the arrow.

Shot my first archery elk with a sevr 1.5… at the time I was shooting 435 gr gold tip hunter, I was completely unimpressed with penetration, it flew great and did the job but I think I had about 8 inch of penetration, luckily I hit the heart and the elk piled up pretty quick

Sorry forgot to mention, 28.5in 70 lbs, buddy shot a bull a couple years ago he draws 63 29in, 425 arrow with a sevr 1.5, and he did hit the shoulder blade, he looked for 3 days, I found the elk with a friend next spring Turkey hunting, well the lab found the shoulder blade and then we found the elk. Zoom in on the shoulder to see the hole.

I get he was tight to the shoulder, but I’ve since switched to a heavier arrow with coc head. Double lung pass through at 40 yards last year with that set up, also the shoulder blade shot by my buddy was 23 yards

GR is an awesome head.
Last three elk with grim reaper 1 3/8
440 grain arrow @278 FPS.

Got two pass throughs and one bad shot that hit shoulder, my fault. Bull still only went 150 yards, just no blood trail.
