Glad you guys got out even if it took plan b. Alaska is awesome im already planning a return. Moose is huge id have let it walk closer too bet you felt every step with him on your back even for a short distance. More to hunting than killing glad you enjoyed yourself

Funny you should ask Hunt! This fella tried to outwit two seekers about mid hunt, he didn't fare to well :)

This elusive bou was his first caribou ever and taken on the gentleman's 62nd Birthday. He was elated, mainly because three of his fellow seekers were there to pack it back to camp for him :)

This one was so elusive that I lost his picture on the computer, luckily I found him. HuntMan with his second bou of the trip to the Happy Valley area.

I'm a little late to the thread, but my buddy and I flew out of Happy on August 30 and spent 10 days on the river. In that time we saw perhaps 40 animals, but managed to each find a nice bull. We found these bulls on our third day of actually hunting, so it wasn't like we spent the entire time behind glass and only saw forty caribou. They were around, but just a few here and there.
