from a spec standpoint, in your case you can’t beat the Raptor 8, but… if you where looking for smaller OAL, with better Suppression then Raptor 4 but same length as Raptor 2… in theory the OG would be for you.

We don’t know that it has better suppression than a raptor 4 with 4 reflex.

I like the OG. More suppressors is a good thing. But I love my two AB suppressors also

I have three AB’s 10,8 and 223 warthog. I do wish their was a way to get reflex separately as both raptors are the large diameter,

Hopefully suppressors come off nfa. Then they can sell all parts separately.

I just got a can approved in 21 hrs and 11 minutes, eform, form 4, trust.
It wasnt an US OG though. Im still gonna wait for silencer shop or capitol armory to carry them.

My SOT is large silencer shop dealer, I wasn’t going to do trust but may now. I have stack of single shot trusts.. lol

I’ve been waiting on my raptor 8 from SS since March. The next iteration of the OG might make me cancel my order. I think the raptors by all accounts are excellent but there is another guy who has been waiting since October. Availability is definitely a problem.

Here are a few reasons I can come up with
-can’t fit over Open sights on a rifle
-To much variation in barrel diameters
-The chamber part that is over the barrel provides less sound reduction than if the equivalent length with baffles was added in front
-Americans aren’t used to it

Just a guess and yes I own both styles of suppressor

American’s are pretty weight obsessed. Which is ironic. Your suppression per ounce is less with a reflex than baffles and front of barrel volume. I think the heavier specs scares some manufacturers.

Mine is 1222 and says the same. My bet is that they had 1000 ready to go right away.

I don’t think they started at zero, I read (or remember) reading somewhere they started at order 1000 or 1200 I forget which. I was an early buyer for raw, which I assume most won’t want (thank you btw, it’s absolutely bad ass) and my dates align with everyone else’s, I’m assuming it’s just QC backlog sort of thing, they posted on IG cans shipping with a golden ticket so we gotta be close. Just sucks I now know I’m not getting a free s2h class

I think the time consuming part with the shipments is getting in contact with SOT for paperwork. Playing phone tag, etc. I also believe the demand was not as great as they expected as orders did not get shut down. You can order one right now with a print window of June 14-28.

This. My SOT is on the ball, I gave them a heads up bc I know them pretty well. My guess is most of them will ship within a week.
