I picked up a Sako 90 Hunter in stainless and they have a straight 17mm dove tail now and are no longer tapered like the older Sako rifles. This seems to be the same as the Tikka dove tail and I'd like to know if the Unknown Munitions Tikka mounts will fit the Sako 90 Hunter rifles? There are no holes to put pins like on the Tikka rifles but the Unknown Munitions website states that the pins are not needed for the rings to function properly. Anyone use the UM Tikka rings on a Sako 90? I'm a big fan of them on my T3x and would like to use them for the Sako 90 as well.
Putting a Trijocon Credo 3-9x40 on the Sako 90, 1" .90 micro would seem to work according to their chart, anyone have a similar setup and can confirm it would mount fine?
