Universal Pack & Frame?

What frames if any will work with multiple packs from different manufacturers?

For instance I have a Kuiu carbon fiber frame with a 3200 pack, if I wanted to go with a day pack or a larger pack could I use one from Kirafu, SG or Exo Mt.?

Are there any frames out there that will fit to multiple manufacturers bags?

Stone glacier and Kuiu both have a very narrow frame/bag slot, while Kifaru, EXO and Mystery Ranch both have a much wider slot. So while a Kif/MR/exo bag will likely work on a SG/kuiu frame, the opposite will be much less true.

The next factor is buckle compatibility. MR and Kif use 1" buckles while EXO and Kuiu seem to use more 3/4" buckles. 3/4" web will work in 1" buckles, but the opposite is not true.

There have been quite a few posts about people putting various other manufacturers bags on Kifaru frames. Other manufacturers include, but I'm sure not limited to, Exo, KUIU, MR, Stone Glacier, Wilderness Pack Specialties, Oregon Pack Works, Dana Design, and Hill People Gear.
