Units 36b idaho

My army buddy and I will be up in the clayton idaho area the 13th oct through the 28th we have a mule deer and elk tag but deer is our main focus can anyone give us some insight to the unit we hunted Selway and never saw any game in 2 weeks last year other than a few grouse thanks again for any help you can give

I hunted sheep in this unit 2 years ago. Most of my hunting was above tree line and we didn't see many deer up there. Most of the deer and elk were working the sage flats in the early morning and working uphill to the timber midday. Most of this was west and north of the bayhosee access. Hope this helps.
