Hey everyone, I’m brand new to this forum so I’m hoping this is the right place to get some info. I’ll start out by saying I am a newbie to elk hunting. I come from WI, and whitetail is all I know. Me and several buddies got bull (B) tags for the ***** zzzzz zone Unit **. I’ve got all my gear, done my research, know where I want to go, etc. My main concern is this; I know there will be many people out in *** come late Oct - Early Nov, however I’m wondering just how many y’all have experienced in the past? We are all ultimately clueless what to expect. I came here to hopefully get some Do’s and Dont’s in this side of the sport. I’ll end by saying it’s just a weekend trip and plan on camping on a mountain, somewhere. Is this a bother to other hunters? If so, what’s yall’s experience with running into people on the mountain? Is it usually civil, or a verbal altercation concerning who was there first, etc… any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
