Unit 28 fire closures

FYI for anyone with 28 deer tags or salmon b elk tags. Over 3/4 of the unit is closed.

I would guess, just unit 28? Onx shows it's getting hammered with the Red Rock and Black Eagle fires, which have merged. Units 20, 20A, 21, and 21A don't look bad.

It’s basically the entire unit 28. If you are a NR with a 28 mile deer gave there isn’t gonna be much area to hunt unless they change the closures. If you planned on being there opening day you likely will want to change your plans. See the closure notice

28 is getting hammered. Hunted there last year and all my info has changed now. I would still go back but it will take a few years.

They just trimmed the closure area down by about 80%.
