I found a box of 212 eldx at the store and decided to build a rifle around it. All my parts will be here this week. Specked out reamer. 10-12 weeks, then i can spin the barrel.

I went through the same process, but being that I started getting stuff in April, I couldn't wait on everyone's waiting list till this fall to get the parts when I would be needing the rifle in October. Sourced out all new parts from various dealers. Everything but the Reamer which Should be here in the next 6-7 weeks. Hopefully be shooting by the end of July!

I run my own custom rifle shop. Apex Custom Rifles, LLC. Reamer showed up yesterday, now waiting on my machine rebuilder to finish my big lathe.

I'm prepping to finally build a load for mine. I drew my OIL Oryx tag this year and I really want to use the PRC.

That will be awesome i drew an elk tag, so all my other rigs were too heavy to hike 8-10 miles a day for a week. The 300 PRC is similar to another wildcat a did several years ago so I just went this route. Seems to be getting to be a more popular round.

This sounds a lot like the build I just got my final piece for (McM stock). Defiance ruckus, proof 26" 1:9, Hawkins BDL, trigger tech, McM game hunter. I was able to slowly source loaded ammo and components in this desert of resources. I have 80rnds of 220eld-m, and 80rds of 212eld-x loaded ammon, 100ct 212eld-x projectiles, 100 new lapua brass, 100 once fired hornady, 2000 federal mag primers and several pounds of H1000, Retumbo, and various vit powders. Hoping to have it built, scoped, broken in and dialed for kodiak in October.

Anyone that has built their own have any 300 PRC headspace gauges they are willing to sell or rent out for a week? Thats the last of what I need to ensure my Defiance/Proof setup is correct.

It looks like LE Wilson is selling the case length gauge. I am looking for the chamber headspace go/no-go gauge.
