Uneven tint on new Revic binos — defect or normal?

I just picked up a pair of Revic binoculars and noticed something odd — the tint seems different between the two sides. The left barrel looks slightly brownish, while the right has more of a blue-green tint.

I don’t have another pair to compare them to, but this doesn’t seem normal to me. Has anyone else run into this with their Revics, or is it just my pair? Assume this is not by design and i should exchange?

That's normal for most of the RF binos. The tint is required for the display. Some RF binos are much worse than others.

Try using them upside down and closing one eye back and forth to see if the pattern is the same. It may be each of your eyes sees slightly differently. This is called "red shift" and is due to pressure differences inside the eye IIRC. Normal.
