Under Armour speedfit hike

Just curious if anybody has experience with the UA speedfit hikes? I'm wondering if they would be good for trail runs, or strictly hiking?

I don't know if you have had other under armour boots, but they are very poorly constructed and don't last at all! I have not worn these yet, but i have gone through 5 speed freeks because they fall apart after a few hunts!

Thanks. I have never owned any UA boots. I really like my Meindl's for hunting and hiking, I'm just looking for something to run in. I definitely don't want something that will be falling apart on me.

If your looking for a trail running shoe i hear a lot of good things about Salomon trail running shoes, i have never used them though! Might be worth checking out!

look into the Salomon SpeedCross 3 for trail running. I even use them for day hunts to give my feet a break.

Ive used the brooks cascadia for trail running for about 10 years now. Salomons are good too and depending what you want/what fits you there are a lot of good choices nowadays.

Salomon speedcross three's are amazing trail running shoes. I haven't found a better running shoe with that much traction. I just got the new camo ones for early season archery hunts.

I have a pair of the UA speedfit running shoes. I was very disappointed. They gave me horrible blisters, and the material (same as the speedfit hike) has the worst odor retention in a shoe that I have ever experienced! I have never owned a pair of shoes that smelled this bad. I have to keep them in the garage. I have tried washing them, shoe powder, freabreeze nothing helps.

I got them right off the Salomon web site under running/ footwear. There are three types of Speed Cross 3 these are under the basic model. The color on these is called Camo Titan. They also have an OD Speed Cross 3 GTX that have a waterproof coating
