I ordered a set. They are warm. In 30° snowing weather it was almost too warm for anything but sitting. Didn't seem to soak up too much water, but definitely made for cold weather.

Still eyeing the down hoodie but can't commit on a size. I bought the parka in a small and it's definitely big on me. I'm 5' 10 and weigh 155. Eyeing 145 by the end of the year. Any insight into what size hoodie I should order? I don't want it to fit big but would like to get a layer, 2 at most under it.

I’m between a L and XL, normally go with a L when it comes to jackets. With the parka I had to get a M. With the Hoody I got a L and wish I would have went with an XL. I’ll probably sell the L hoody, just a little tighter in arm pits than I would like. I’m 5’10 190 lbs

Those are great if you have short walk or hunting from a stand. But when you start long walking in the bushes and jumping over obstacles, you will feel the pain and heaviness.
My advice for the size is; get one size up if you planning on putting them occasionally on top of your marino and regular hunting/sweatpants, but if you want to wear them on top of the marino directly then get true size, combining them with gators will trap heat very well, adjust straps accordingly to have comfortable inseam. good luck.
