Under armor anything better?

How long do you plan on being out? I've found that most Under Armour-type materials tend to hold on to stink pretty bad. My underwear for the last 2 seasons has been First Lite merino boxers.

Switched to ExOfficio years ago from UA and never looked back. Tried many others too.

ExOfficio have been great for me and don't stink as bad as some other synthetics I've used. Price-wise they're at the high end of what I'm willing to spend on panties for myself.

Ditto. Except I roll with smartwool or icebreaker base layers/underwear.

I have not personally bought a lot of UA gear, but have not been impressed lately. I did get one pair of athletic shorts because my wife had a coupon for Kohl's. The stitching on the hem came completely unraveled within a month. If I hadn't started dabbling with my mother-in-laws old sewing machine I would have thrown them out. My son just got a pair of UA tennis shoes for his birthday in March. I looked at the stitching and they are already coming apart. Maybe they have different quality control for different types of gear, but in my opinion you are paying a premium for a "cool" brand instead of performance.

Have fallen in love with my FL Merino boxers. Fit is great and I don't know they are there even in very warm weather.

Ex officio are pricey but I think are worth it. Like someone else said under armour gets the stank really bad, and I have a drawer full of under armour gear but I keep that for working out when I know they will get washed after use. I’ve lived in my ex officios for several days just changing between 2 pair every other day and they don’t get that bad. Also, only underwear that I have found that doesn’t ride up my legs.

I won't hunt in UA. I found their fabrics tend to stay wet especially the cold gear.
Now in the gym the stuff is great or their sweats and casual wear.

The Sitka or other brands of synthetic baselayers seem a lot better at wicking the moisture then drying out.
