Uncompahgre repair

I tore my jacket this last weekend taking the dogs out - its an L-shaped tear below the left pocket. Was wondering what the best thing people have found to repair tears in the uncompahgre fabric? Was thinking about attempting to sew it or use some sort of tent repair tape or something like that? Thanks for the ideas

Tenacious tape.
I've had better luck with the thin clear vs the heavier duty green.
Rounded edges as corners peel up easier.

I used the tape as well in my vest in the same spot when it got caught on a branch this late season and seems to be holding good.

Tenacious tape is good. The black stuff that looks like fabric lasts longer than the clear stuff.

Another vote for Tenacious tape, I melted the shoulder of mine on my tent stove pipe and taped it up, then like you I ripped my pocket out and taped that up as well and its held just fine. Also if you haven't tried my wife's puffy had the pocket rip out (common problem) and First Lite warrantied it so you might try giving them a call to see if they will replace it.
