I've had the unpronounceable jacket 2.0 since it came out, I'm finally over it. The sleeve cuffs make it hell to wear a watch being so tight and the hem on the front is so short it feels like a crop top. Ok maybe exaggerating a bit but seriously the cuffs are incredibly annoying.

Anyway I'd like to get a new coat since its been a few years. I run cold, but have a chamberlain for the really nasty stuff. I'm hoping for as durable or more so, as warm or warmer, and icing on the cake would be more of a "tail"/seat. My 2.0 I've taken with me on all types of hunts backcountry included and plan to do same with the replacement.

Doesn't have to come from a hunting company and prefer solid colors anyway.

I'm thinking the LPP is the ticket but hoping collective knowledge/experience here points me at something I might have missed.

The lpp is Michelin man status compared to the FL you have. Can be good or bad depending on use case, but it’s waaayy warmer/bulkier than the FL in my experience

First Lite is coming out withe a replacement for it this year. It will be called the North Range (Windproof, water-resistent, 133GSM of primaloft gold, zippered chest pocket and tricep vents, removable hood and cinch hem).
Any details on release date / price? Been seeing images of what looked like a lighter version of the white cloud. Been curious.

Kuiu Kenai hooded jacket for active insulation and layering versatility. Been a user since 2019 and now own 3, one which I use as a beater around town or when working in the garage. Ran the FL Uncompaghre for a season or two, now relegated as a town jacket once I discovered the Kenai.
