UM Tikka Ring Design Change?

Just went to install the second set i had bought from UM not only do these have the miss matched scope pieces it has miss matched screws! This looks like some Mickey Mouse s**t. Not what id expect for rings of that price.
The screws said O _ o

Call for sure.

Can't find a manual on the UM website, but if the torque spec for rings is different from the bases, it's possible they chose different heads (and even lengths) for each application and yours got crossed during assembly.

Ill call monday for sure, @Lane Avery can you look at the pics in my post above so you can see what im talking about and let me know which ones are the right ones?

I dont think so, if they are they were real close. heads just are different i believe. The flatter ones appear lower quality, thats just from a cosmetic standpoint. Not sure though.

Whoa. Who lets stuff like that out the door!

Got these a couple weeks ago. Screws look fine, and I bet function is great.

The decision to chamfer the bottom corner and fillet the top corner isn’t a huge deal but does look janky and mismatched.

Bit of an odd choice to ship new design lowers with old mismatched design uppers that will be updated on the subsequent run rather than a clean break from all matched gen 1 design to all matched gen 2 design.

That's how mine came. I didn't notice until reading this thread and checking them just to see. As long as they function like they are supposed to i don't care. Now I agree with the guy who got the mismatched screws, I wouldn't like that.
