Ultralight Custom Break Action Rifle

I ordered one of these last night. I’m not claiming it’s an Ultra light but I’m intrigued to see what it actually looks like and weighs on my scale. The specs say it’s an aluminum receiver. If so it might be possible to get this gun pretty light with some work. Either way it’s cheap so I’m not out a ton of money either way
this is a interesting little rifle I’ve looked at a time or two. Which chambering did you go with and how’d it turn out?

It’s in 243 and so far not so good. I haven’t actually shot it but when I put a fired case in there it drags the firing pin across the case leaving a really deep scratch in the case all the way across the back of the brass to the center of the firing pin. It’s dragging bad enough that I’m pretty sure it will either wear down or crack the firing pin over time.

I have let them know the issue so we will see if they do anything about it or not.

Trigger is also super heavy, maybe 7 pounds? Action is steel not aluminum.

I will say the cerakote and stock are actually surprisingly well done but that’s the only positive thing I can say

Mine is very accurate without too much thinking about it. I am using the oversize hinge pins and relieved the forearm stock so it only makes contact where the two screws mount. Both forearms screws are torqued equally and the mounting dovetails are slightly loose before mounting the forearm. Ive done this with all my contenders. My SSK 6arch chamber is slightly oversized, when I resize the brass I barely touch the shoulder. This tightened up my groups.
How bad were they with full resized or factory ammo?
