Ultra sonic vs steel

I assume you mean which one for cleaning brass. My wet tumbler does a much better job than my ultrasonic cleaner does, but the ultrasonic cleaner is easier to use.

Sorry yes was eating dinner writing that.

Explain wet tumbling to me.

You dump stainless steel pins in the wet tumbler then you put the brass in the tumbler. You then fill most the way with hot water. Ince its mostly filled with hot water you add your cleaning agent. I use a squirt of dawn dish soap and a very little bit of lenme shine. I use the frankford arsonal wet tumbler. Then you put the tumbler container on the wheels of the base. I set it to tumble for 2 hours. Once it is done i drain out the water into a mesh screen. It screens the brass in the top pan and the stainless pins in the lower pan. Then i rinse the brass and dry the brass.

I’ve done both and have gone back to dry tumbling. What I found was that the other two methods made the case necks too clean to the point where it changed my seating depth / pressure because the necks were grabbing the bullet so much. Dry tumbling leaves that nice film of dust to lube the necks up and has given me my most consistent seating depths
