Ultimate ultralight early season and late season sleep setup?

This thread really interests me as I am interested in going ultralight to have flexibility to follow wherever the game are. When using the tarp shelters with no floors, is there the typical single wall condensation issue or is there enough air circulation around the edge of the tarp to eliminate this issue? What is a good bivy material that will breath so any condensation is on the outside of the bivy instead of inside?

In most situations it's pretty imperative that you have a gap around the perimeter of the shelter and the ground, to allow for good air movement/circulation. Sometimes this is not really possible, but chances are good that if you seal it tight to the ground, you will experience condensation inside the shelter. For the top of the bivy, there are several materials available that are water resistant and breathable. I think the Argon67 that Borah Gear uses does a very good job dealing with both those issues.

As of now I have three setups.
-Archery (September). Sleep setup stays the same but I’ve two clothing lists for early vs late September.
-Early rifle (mid - late October)
-Late rifle (after October)
I’d like to go even lighter with down but I can’t as I’m allergic to it.
Tent will stay the same, ZPacks Plex Solo.
Sleeping bag and ground pad will change, growing progressively heavier. If I do a November hunt this year I may use my BD Megamid as it’s very roomy, or my double wall one man as it’s very warm. Assuming I’m not packing in very far.

@Carrot Farmer Curious if you ever get cold in the quilt in temps between 0-15*. Thats the only thing im hesitant about with a late season quilt. Drafts? How big of a guy are you for that quilt size? Been looking at el coyote quilts so appreciate some insight. Thanks.

6’1, 325.

2nd season elk in E. Oregon wasn’t too cold. Got down to 20s, slept in tshirt n bvds. Loved the quilt, plenty of room
