I don’t know how JG was just able to champ most of those punches from Tompuria. The guy was hitting Justin HARD and never stopped coming at him. Amazing he was able to go so long in the shape his face was in.

Please explain, because I always find it odd to “pick a favorite.” I just want to see exemplary martial arts, so I find it interesting when people want a certain person to win.

Yes, it’s weird for people to a have a favorite anything - sports team, brand, food, etc. - totally weird. So damn weird. Yeah, people that have favorites are weird.

As much as i hate to admit it, that just shows how wildly talented and utterly terrifying Jones is!!

Especially if you look over the course of history of fighters in their prime, in their natural weight class. Jones might be the best who’s done it (considering the competition in his weight class during that time as well)

The worst part is, fighting is mostly a young man’s game, and many fighters came from nothing, so being young with overnight stardom and money, combined with young people doing stupid stuff (like most of us did) we just didn’t have a spotlight on us.

Makes you appreciate the ones that stay focused and don’t fall for the trap, in my early 20’s, I would have done plenty of stupid stuff in his shoes… I didn’t need money and fame, and I still did

100% have to appreciate the guys like GSP, mighty mouse, chuck Liddell, rampage etc.

me too. I'm just glad I grew up before camera phones, internet/social media, being cancelled and all that crap was a thing.
Add 5-10 mil to that equation and id be dead or in prison
