I am VERY fortunate to be able to hunt with my grandpa in Idaho. He is a TX native and we went down a couple years ago for a hog hunt. While talking about plans for next season I mentioned returning to TX for another hunt at which time he expressed how much he’s always wanted to hunt whitetail in his home state.
He‘ll be turning 78 next November, so for his bday I’m planning the trip. Wanted to put this out there as the Google ad machine is a pain in the A$$ and I know there are hundreds of places in which don’t have the big websites or advertising.
We are not looking for a trophy hunt, it’s about spending some more time with my gramps and making this happen for him.
I’d like to keep the hunt around 2k each, which I know is tough, especially with all the additional fees and charges.
I greatly appreciate any and all recommendations. He’s still in great shape, an Army veteran who walks 2 miles almost every day!
