Anyone use this turkey vest? Would you recommend?

I don't run that vest, and I know you're not asking for this, but I'm running the Sitka turkey vest. It's the only piece of Sitka I own and I absolutely love it. Like a good frame pack it moves with you, doesn't feel like it's a separate load from your body... fantastic.

I’ve yet to talk to anyone about that vest who doesn’t love it.

After years of carrying everything but the kitchen sink in a vest, my load has leaned down a ton. The less stuff I’ve got, the easier it is to move through the woods sounding like a hen turkey.

Pair of clippers, a couple diaphragms, a crow call, and a decoy is about all I carry anymore. Between my bino harness, pants pockets, and decoy bag, I can carry all that I need.

That vest has a great lay out, I do not need all that though, I have using an RNG 200 for a while, just got the Sitka on sale but have yet to use it.

Keeping the RNG until I give the Sitka a go.

Spotted one of these at a local store on a clearance sale, 50% off, early summer. I was considering purchasing. However, the snap on the first pocket that I looked in came apart when I unsnapped the pocket. I've heard pretty good things about them but that didn't win me over.

I honestly may have one of these exact vests unused. Too hot for most of my turkey hunting.I run the outdoor vision turkey pro (puts all my turkey gear in the space/position of a bino harness). And will add a small daypack if making longer excursions.

I wouldn’t get one of those Alps vest because they are just another of the 99% of turkey vests that don’t do their job well or are poorly made.

The Sitka turkey vest is quite good and I would also consider running the Tethrd turkey vest or a final rise. Everything else can go in the trash bin.

Still use my old Mothers. They were made in oregon I believe, wish they were still in business.
