I have most of the stuff for my next hunting rifle. The stock is one of the last pieces. I was set on a manners pro hunter adjustable cheek piece till I seen the KS1. I’ve not handled ether one. If I go adjustable cheek piece it’ll probably be the manners simply due to the increased weight of the adjustable ks1. Barrels going to be medium palma and the scope will have 52mm objective. Any you KS1 guys have a similar setup? Do you wish you had a adjustable cheek piece or does it fit pretty well? Post of pics if you have them

I can't support a guy who builds rifles for known poachers.

Manners pro hunter would be my choice
Thanks for the heads up, wasn’t aware of this. Found a good thread on hunt talk that changed my mind on a few companies out there. Manners Pro hunter it will be

Don't know the story behind this but isn't this the same thinking of not buying a certain brand vehicle because someone was drinking and driving in it and killed someone. Did the gunsmith have anything to do with the poaching or did he just build the rifle?

I think it's more about him not dropping the relationship with the poacher as soon as it happened. As far as I can remember TS Customs still works with the guy in some capacity.

Travis runs a good business, does good work, but I stopped sending them work due to the muley freak defense/support too. I do think I’d prefer the ks1 to a pro hunter too.
