Well these finally came back from DLC.

We are going to do a soft launch here on Rokslide. These are 10% off until April 10th.

Weighing in at less than 1/3 of an ounce, these are the lightest but also the hardest Tikka recoil lugs on the market.

We added lightweighting holes to the back side to cut weight, and we had them DLC coated.

A standard steel lug weighs .7 oz.

Here is the link, the products is not available currently, except by following this link.

Also, someone left the LED light bar in the photo room and I've never played with it. You can tell I used it in the photos :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Serious question @Salmon River Solutions - what do we gain from lightening the recoil lug, besides losing 4 tenths of an ounce.
Fixed it for you.

@Salmon River Solutions same question. I mean, if Im trying to go lighter and the cost isnt excessive, why not? …but is the juice worth the squeeze? It seems there’s other places that might benefit from the same treatment, but with a greater return? Example, a set of 4.5oz tikka rings. Or a 3oz bottom metal. Seems theres the potential for a full ounce or 1.5oz of savings there. Why this for less than 1/2oz?
Curious to hear your thoughts.

You fix the rust issue by using DLC.

If replacing the lug anyway, why not make it lighter. And the factory bottom plastic wins for weight there. So lighter scope rings would be nice, but a significantly more complicated project.

By cost, this is probably cheaper to you to save 0.4 oz than the cost of rings or a bottom metal that save you a full ounce.

I might get one. Pretty sure the lug that came with my Rokstok from the original December 21 drop is too high.

If you buy this and sell whatever lug it replaces not a bad bet cost.
