About to go into a 4th rifle season elk hunt in Colorado, also have a 3rd season rifle in Colorado for a friend for Mule Deer and also ... well anyways! I'm going to be traveling from home and am setting up my truck to make sure I have everything I need: Air compressor , Full size spare, Tire patch kit, Tie downs, Tools, on and on and on ect ...

So I'm just curious what truck hacks all of you have as far as what you carry that is out of the "norm".
Just to make it more fun, I'd love to hear what everyone is experimenting with or continuing to hunt with as far as weapons for this season.

Personally I have a 1:7 20" 6.5 WSM custom barrel job on a savage ultralight action from Hells Canyon Armory. Going to be shooting the 129 gr PVA cayuga out of that one (had great luck with those boolots so far!) . It is still in the making at the moment but very excited to get that and play around with some loads.

Let'r rip! whats up Rokslide?!?!?!

I'm using an amazon special at the moment, fried my old one last year lol Would love to hear from guys on here though and see what they are using and what their truck set ups look like. I also realize I somehow put this post in the wrong folder (Backcountry), but your truck has to get you to the backcountry so I guess its fine here, I can't figure out how to move it to the appropriate spot or I would do so.

3rd or 4th Season in CO, I'd recommend a pair of snow chains on at least 2 tires. I sometimes have them on all 4 tires.
