Why an f150 with 20s? That's a pavement princess. I had a 2010 that was a complete pile of shit that sucked off road.

At a minimum put smaller rims on it that actually have some side wall, or just get a real off road capable truck like a tacoma..

I do like the stt Maxx tires.

I can't add much comparison value or varied experience to what has already been said but I am in tire shopping mode right now and it has me reviewing my numbers so I thought I would throw them on the pile.

I have run BFG ATs for the past 25+ years. Just over 650,000 miles on 14 sets. A half ton Suburban and two half ton Silverados. Approx. 45% highway miles, 30% country road, and an honest 25% forest road, gravel, logging trail or no road. I don't go mudding or rock crawling for fun but work, and sometimes recreation, puts me in places where tires matter and so far the BFG ATs have not let me down. Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself by saying this but I have not had a flat tire in 25+ years. From tall and skinny to moderate dimensions, I have driven cross country multiple times and on almost every unpaved road/trail in the Appalachians of PA, WV and VA. Not bad for road noise, handle decent, carry a heavy load, acceptable in mud and snow.

You can tell I am sold on them. Could probably get the same from a few other options discussed on this thread and maybe better, Idunno. Lots of good info here and you guys are prompting me to look outside of the box I have put myself in. But it's so comfortable in that box.....

It's pretty good at hauling groceries.

It's way more comfortable to run in the woods than a full size.

It fits what I use it for very well..

When Ford or Chevy makes a rig that'll go 200k with only routine maintenance, I'll buy one.

At the end of the day it's the ops money and choice.

Not sure how I missed these! Probably because the can changed since I had them last.

They bring back some memories. I used to leave a case in my drift boat when I lived back east. They still taste good even after sitting in the bottom of your drift boat for two weeks cooking in the summer sun.

Nitto TerraGrapplers. Just replaced a set that had 53,000 miles on them that could have gone a few more months (another 5,000 miles or so and I only rotated them once), but have a lot of family highway miles coming up, so didn’t want to chance it.

Agree here. I've got the same tires on my F150 and they wear like champs. Good traction and not loud going down the highway. Great tires for 1/2 pick up.

I run the Cooper ST Maxx. Ran a few sets of BFGs, but tire shop told me today's BFGs are not what they used to be. Research seemed to back that up, so I have went with the Coopers.

I have been reading reviews on these today and the reviews are great. Any idea how the E rated tires hold up to 3/4 ton diesel trucks?
