Truck gun, rifle carry.

What does everyone do to carry the truck gun or rifle handy in the front seat? My hunting rig is an 87 suburban with bucket seats. Debating on building a custom center console or doing something like a Rydr industries mount. Usually carry two rifles and like them up front and easy. Let’s see your ideas!

I just wedge it next to me between me and the center console/arm rest whatever.

Wedge between center console and passenger seat... Though it does at times interfere with holding the hand of the esteemed Mrs. AK4570

The magazine off the SBR wedges nicely between the seats on the front bench of the truck.

I also keep it wedged between me and the center console. Or, if I’m riding shotgun, I keep it in my lap in the ready position. That’s always worked well enough I’ve never been too motivated to look for anything better.

I don’t believe that you can legally carry rifles in that fashion in Maryland.

Gun saddle , but not made any more. Leather pickup truck scabbard is almost the same thing. Ezra Tech Ranch gear, MHS leather, and some leather guys in Texas make some.

9mm in the console and a suppressed AR9 or 300Black SBR easily accessible.

Single cab ranch truck= big sky rack. Double cab= one wedged against console, one in back seat and one on passenger side.

If I am on a national forest road I keep my guns cased, I cant remember if it's Virginia or West Virginia requires guns are cased on national forest roads
