I'm hoping for a winter of bird hunting and sleeping in the truck with the dog. I've been worried about the light shell material of my western mountaineering bags getting torn by dog nails, and thought of getting a cover blanket. I've known Butler Bags for several years and finally decided to grab one since they are made of canvas and made in Colorado. My cot pad fits in the sleeve pretty well

Has anyone used one?

I thought this was a canvas sleeve for your down sleeping bag. I guess I'm missing why I'd spend 300 bucks instead of the several options out there for canvas sleeping bags already. I have a browning one that's 0 degree and was 100 bucks that I use for truck camping.

It's a full bedroll; pad sleeve, fleece sheets, holofill insulation, sunforger canvas exterior. All that is needed is a pad and pillow.
