I wonder if the 5/8”27 g insulin needle might work.

I use this needle for my delts with no issues. I then switch over to 1" in glutes and lats.

I inject daily, so I rotate sites daily to prevent any scar tissuing. I have done the 5/8" in lats with no issues as well.

That's the size I use to draw and inject in my quad. No pain 95% of the time. Pretty easy.

Did my first injection yesterday. Used a 1” 25 g in the thigh. Coughed when I pinned. Didn’t even feel it

Are you guys using the 27 gauge for subcutaneous? I tried the 27g today for subcutaneous and couldn't plunge the syringe. I was able to get a small droplet out of the needle before and after trying so that wasn't the issue.

I haven’t had an issue with the 1/2 x 27 subq

If you're having trouble drawing or injecting with a smaller needle, you can warm your vial first. Test and the carrier oils can get very thick when cold.

I used hot water and let the vial sit for a little and then sterilizing after. I have also read of guys using baby bottle warmers as well.

After the 3rd injection into either the delt or ventroglut, no more soreness. I did read something about gently massaging the muscle after injection. Been doing that too...idk if it helps or not.

Does IM injection site soreness subside over time? Like your body gets used to it?

Started TRT last week. First two went into the delt, pretty sore in the days following. If I rolled onto it while sleeping it would wake me up. Did the ventro glute yesterday. Just noticed its getting sore. Doing injections 3x per week.

Move the injection site around? Do the other glute tomorrow?

Do it in your butt mostly. But the most comfortable place i use is where your hip flexer meets the top of the quad. I sit on the counter, put the chosen leg up on the counter and get it relaxed. Squeeze the spot you are going into and hit it. Very rarely any soreness.

So I went and picked up my Rx today. They gave me a 10ml bottle of 100mg/mL (so total of 1000 mg of Test Cypionate). But I'm confused by the dosing requirements on the Rx....it says "Inject 1 ML in the muscle every 4 weeks for 4 weeks"....this does not seem to make sense at all. I sent my provider a message to see if that's really what he meant.

Also I have questions on the needles the pharmacy gave me. I got 1ml barrels and 1" 18 g needles for drawing and 1" 25g needles for injecting ... are those ok for IM or SubQ injections? I'm a bit confused on SubQ vs IM based on the recent posts.

also the bottle of Test even says on right on it "for Intramuscular use only" ....

so confused!

Probably every 4 days for 4 weeks.

Draw with the 18, inject with 25. The 25 are normally for IM but you could subQ.
