Not throwing Shade at anyone....but it now seems VERY common for 30 year old males to be absolute schitt on blood labs.

I personally think it's a HUGE problem why the US is where it is today. I don't know WTF the issue is, but overall it seems BAD. A broad on Rogan years ago said women's birth control pills (extreme Estrogen) can't be filtered out of urine and every Flush of female urine adds a bazillion ppm of Estrogen into the water. And for decades we all have been drinking it! Well.....many of you all. I've been on well water for decades. You urban dwellers get what you get in the cities.

That "Juice" is what makes Men.....Men. And it's fading.

I have two Pansies in my life. Older brother is suuuuuuper gay ( I do think there are levels to that). 64 yo. And I have a brother in law that claims to not be Gay, but I would bet even with wife and $60,000 test tube child at 47...he is.

I would love to know what their T levels and blood labs show.

I'm 54. I have noticed young teen age boys don't have acne like when I was growing up. Everyone of us had it bad. Now it doesn't seem to be as bad on the boys going through adolescents. Maybe just be a coincidence?

Does IM injection site soreness subside over time? Like your body gets used to it?

Started TRT last week. First two went into the delt, pretty sore in the days following. If I rolled onto it while sleeping it would wake me up. Did the ventro glute yesterday. Just noticed its getting sore. Doing injections 3x per week.

Move the injection site around? Do the other glute tomorrow?

I do IM in the quad. It does get a bit tender, but nothing bad. Feels like a little bruise for a day or so.

It's specifically IM.....for a reason. I can ask Why when she gets home. But she oversaw me for years. Always IM. If SubQ was an option or better, for sure she would have told me.

Soreness: You are doing something wrong. Should not be sore at all. Even immediately after. Going through a Nerve will be sore. You'll feel it immediately. But even after, it's not going to be keeping you awake.

So easier for the patient to administer, and by easier and more convenient for the patient...they may stay on it longer.....is Right and Better?

You might want to step back and relax a little.

Everyone should follow their doctors advice. For me, injecting subq is easier and less painful.

What size needle are you using for injection? As many have stated, you can easily inject with a 27g needle (you may want to draw with something larger if you're not super patient). But using that for IM injections and legitimate test, you shouldn't be having lasting injection site soreness. Swab the injection site, relax your muscle, quick stab, inject smoothly. I rotate between both delts and hip flexors and don't get any soreness.

So I went and picked up my Rx today. They gave me a 10ml bottle of 100mg/mL (so total of 1000 mg of Test Cypionate). But I'm confused by the dosing requirements on the Rx....it says "Inject 1 ML in the muscle every 4 weeks for 4 weeks"....this does not seem to make sense at all. I sent my provider a message to see if that's really what he meant.

Also I have questions on the needles the pharmacy gave me. I got 1ml barrels and 1" 18 g needles for drawing and 1" 25g needles for injecting ... are those ok for IM or SubQ injections? I'm a bit confused on SubQ vs IM based on the recent posts.

also the bottle of Test even says on right on it "for Intramuscular use only" ....

I wanted to share my experience with the compounded cream so far:

Applying 1ML twice daily (AM/PM)

Labs after 5 months:
1404 - Total T
444.7 - Free T

On injections, I was running around 1040 average with a little lower dosage.

Feel pretty good over all. The cream is much easier to deal with vs. needles - especially on a backpack hunt. You do have to worry about transference so that is something to consider if you switch.

I'm 52. When I started TRT a year ago my level was 276. I was about 30% body fat, depressed and full of anxiety. I got tested the day before my injection a few months ago and I think it was around 600. I asked to get bumped up a little but my Dr said he wanted to leave it since I had an issue with my blood pressure when I was around 1000. I'm taking 50mg 2x a week injecting IM. I've done IM and sub q injections, and I don't think it matters. Both can hurt or be painless depending on what you hit when you stick yourself. I only inject glutes now. I never have pain for more than a day, usually nothing.

TRT has been life changing for me. The biggest thing is my anxiety and depression are gone. I lost 30lbs and put on at least 10lbs of muscle. I look and feel like a different person. It also makes me feel calmer and more confident. I started out using Henry's meds. They were about $130/month. They will give you whatever you want, as long as you don't go much over 1000 and you blood work is good. I got tired of paying that much and switched to Posterity health. The doctor is covered by my insurance, and the prescription is $40 for I think 6 weeks. My insurance did not cover the prescription.

I don’t want to inject into either glute. I have a prosthetic hip on my right side, my ortho doc said stay away from the right hip with any injections… I’m paranoid and don’t want to do any lower body injections , thus thinking about using a 1/2” 27 guage in the delt

Yes.

I'd alternate between delts and quads. If you're fairly lean, you shouldn't have an issue with the shorter needle.

Im using 1/2" 27 ga needles to draw and inject. Don't think I hit a nerve, I assume Id feel that on the way in. I basically haven't felt anything while injecting so far.

Yesterday was the 2nd time I hit the right ventro glut. A bit sore this morning. I like that better than the delt though, dont notice it as much. Maybe Im being a little girl. Thinking Ill stick with the same injection site for a bit and see if it normalizes
