You should check out the Remington 700 KS Custom Shop. Very light weight with an extremely durable Kevlar stock. I had mine chambered in a 300 Ultra Mag. Killed a lot of critters with this weapon and couldn't be happier.

Shot a 250 round long distance instructional course and shoulder was fine.

There should be plenty of .338 T3 sitting around gun shops. I've seen them many times. I've also seen quite a few used ones (probably because they kick so hard). I can't imagine not being able to find one with a good search.

They chamber the SAKO A7 in 338 Federal. Not exactly a 338 Win mag, but still a 338.
