I’m looking for a recommendation for a tripod that will allow me to glass while standing up. I’m 6’4” tall. I don’t do any backpack hunts but I do hike 5 - 10 miles a day. My budget is somewhat flexible but I’m trying to avoid the high end of the price range.

I’m 6’4” as well and pretty well most center post tripods will be tall enough but I’d recommend leaning towards something on the more robust side. I just got the aziak front country and like it so far.

I used a sirui traveler for a few seasons tho and it was tall enough, just pretty damn shaky at height.

I’d look at the slik 700/800 series as well.

Do you more or less stand up straight while glassing from the aziak or do you have to hunch over. My current tripod is pretty stable but I have to hunch over in an uncomfortable position to use it

Leofoto 324 CLX is pretty good for a lighter tripod. It’s not crazy cheap, but you can find 50% off certs for $60. I’ve put a lot of miles with that on my pack

I'm also 6'4". I have a fatboy which is great and I don't blame want to carry it more than a mile or 2. I also have the tricer hk. I can glass standing though i don't think it is stable enough to shoot standing past 300 yards.

For light weight the Aziak Frontcountry is King. I'm just under 6'3" and none of the 64" ones suffice (standing).
