Slik vs Sirui vs Outdoormans.
What do ya suggest?
Initially I like the Outdoorsman for American made and bulletproof, but open to suggestions

It all depends on how much weight you are willing to carry. Heavier tripods are always going to be a little better to shoot off of but they suck to carry. I ran the 3 components below this year

Aziak Vantage Pan Head
Aziak Ridgeline Tripod/Head
Leofoto Tripod 4 Section Tripod with their MA-30L Head

Both tripods work well for shooting off of and then I clamp the Aziak Vantage Pan head in for glassing. The Aziak Ridgeline went on my backpack hunts and the Leofoto went on all the hunts where we were closer to the road.

None of the above.

I used an ultralight Sirui tripod for backpack hunts for a while but after getting nicer tripods the build quality is trash even compared to leofoto. Slik is probably about the same. I’d look RRS, leofoto, aziak, tricer. I doubt I’ll buy another non inverted leg tripod anytime soon. Inverted legs are a better mousetrap.
