Triple 6 Update/Delay

Cory, what’s the OD on the OG30? Any chance to get one bored/printed to .358?

1.625

That’s a Cliff question. Maybe at some point but we don’t have any way to test it if we did make one to see durability and performance without making it a sku and going all in on testing. I’m guessing it would be good though. We’ve made a few things larger bore but if we haven’t fully tested it then it’s hard to stand behind it. Ya know?

But larger bore is on the radar, just not at the top of the list.

I expect if the og30 can handle a 30-06, it should handle a 35 whelen. Probably a little louder as the bore is bigger, but powders are the same. Bigger bore should be less pressure on the can.

Lots of 35 cal rifles around as our state minimum is 35 cal and as of 3 years ago we can use bottleneck cartridges, so 35 whelen is becoming more common. 350l is everywhere. I currently have 5 35 cal rifles and pistols and really like the OG form factor. The reaper is good as well, but doesn’t offer anything over the cans I already own.

Took the new OG6 to the range Sunday and shot 223 and 243. Very, very impressive performance. I also shot with the OG65 on .243 and the 6 outperforms it hands down.

Compared the OG6 with Airlock nano on 223 and they are extremely close in sound. The tone is maybe slightly different, I guess but I really couldn't say which one is louder/quieter. They both are great, Can't go wrong either way. Seemed like the 6 was slightly more effective at dampening recoil, and slightly slower to heat up for mirage. wider diameter shows up on the bottom of the sight picture at lower magnification. It's not a problem, but it's there.
That's my observations. Kick ass can! great job Unknown!
