Awesome. I try not to get super wrapped up in the numbers. Appreciate the info.

I haven't done true back-to-back testing, but I'd agree with Form that the 6S is better to my ears on the 6cm and .223s. Next time @Tanner comes to shoot we will switch cans around when the other isn't looking and do a 'blind' test.

I do know I shot about 15 ground squirrels with a .223/OG6S while on a phone call yesterday and the guy on the other end of the line didn't realize what I was doing.

Yes. The actual numbers are hard to be exact due the issues with all the meters, but the OG6-S is better on 6mm and smaller.

You saying that on a 243/creed size case, the 6s sounds better than the og65? Guess I assumed the slightly larger volume of the 65 would give it the edge

Yes. The baffle design in the OG6-s is different.

IIRC, dB(A) is a measurement that is supposed to better take into account how the human ear hears different frequencies. It better reflects how people perceive sound.

I think that’s just sloppy? Both are supposed to be dbA measurements. No shade intended at anyone.

I’m not exactly sure how that would work or even how to go about that but it’s really not my decision. I’ll mention it though so you’re not left hanging.

For sure and the team definitely has learned a lot since the first OG. We would be doing customers a disservice not improving our lineup to give them the best products we know how to make as we grow/evolve. But I’m always willing to do what I can to make customers happy and if it’s something out of my realm or not my decision, I’m more then happy to try and get the right person to handle it.

We try to be reasonable and understanding so you can always shoot me a pm or a phone call and hopefully you’re happy by the end of the convo. I get it.
