Triple 6 Update/Delay

Cory, what’s it like with a 6 Creedmoor?

Amazing. Not even being biased. We shot it with/against the DDC wolf hunter that is the most sought after 6mm can I know of and with the OG6 being 3in past barrel and the Wolf hunter being 6.75 past and 3oz heavier, it’s a huge win and pretty amazing that they’re literally neck and neck performance wise. 4 ppl all said the same thing. I’ll take that every day of the week. Both on the exact same rifle a 20in 6cm Seekins ph3 shooting 105’s.

This can is going to be expensive- baseline is over $1,000- and the current one is something closer to $1,400 (though it is longer- 4” muzzle forward, 6” reflexed). Print time is not dramatically different per inch than current OG’s.

The barrel gets hotter faster as gases are in direct contact with the barrel- and there is no airflow between barrel and inside wall of suppressor. I also expect to see that if shot until the barrel is warm, the can will also stay hotter longer- as it’s acting as a heat sink for the barrel.
I forgot about this project, its just sitting in the cabinet in my office waiting for someone to machine it. I'll drag it back out and turn it into something functional. Gonna be expensive, require special machining from your gunsmith. But dang, ported barrels...

I got to shoot my new OG-6s today. This thing is an absolute home run for Unknown. My friend and I took turns shooting and listening off to the side with a 16-in Tikka 223 using the OG-6s, scythe TI, and an Omega 300. We both agreed the Omega is noticeably louder than the other two. The OG and the scythe were very close in terms of suppression, but the OG sounded better. I know they get some flack for the whole tone thing, but after shooting these OTB suppressors a lot, paying attention to the tone, and comparing them to other suppressors, it's a valid quality for me. Also, some smarter people can correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the effects of that tone really start to come out with a shorter barrel. It was not as noticeable on my 22-in 223 as it was on my 16-in. Regardless of all of that, I'm very happy with my purchase. Having an overall barrel length of 19 in fully suppressed with an effective range out to 500 yards, feels like a revolutionary setup for this redneck.

Capital Armory is the best. They gave me a $500 store credit last month for my well used Scythe. Turned around and purchased an OG 6-S on 4/11 (saturday). They submitted my Form 4 on 4/13 (monday), which was approved on 4/14 (tuesday). They submitted my 4473 and CLEO notification yesterday, and just notified me that the CLEO was acknowledged this morning, and that my suprressor would be delivered to my door by 4/28.

Plan is to rotate it between my 6mm hunter and 223 trainer, until I can eventually get a Airlock ZG 6mm. From there, it will live on my trainer. Excited to put this thing to work.

I’m I reading this correctly? You have already determined that the Airlock 6mm will be your preferred can over the OG6?
